French Toast and Scrambled Eggs :)

My mom made some delicious French toast this morning with sour dough bread and she sprinkled em with cinnamon! She always makes the best French toast. Oh and the scrambled eggs were pretty delicious to :) I love actually having a family breakfast for once!

Of shooting stars and Airplanes

Sometimes when I couldn't sleep at night, I used to quietly slip outside when everybody was asleep. But only very few times. Well, last night I did and It was such a relief. There's a magical feeling you get, when every living thing around you is asleep and there's only the light of the moon and the stars, and the backyard neighbors stupid garden lamp that they never turn off, to accompany you. Of course I held my puppy in my sweatshirt for awhile before she decided she was cold and wanted to sleep in the garage with her mommy.
I walked through my backyard, crunching the ice quietly with every step. I made sure I didn't turn on the motion light by walking around the yard not straight through it. I sat on the old frosty swing set and rocked myself slightly. I looked up at the stars and wondered what it was like to be in space.
I could feel my puppy squirming around in my sweatshirt; she had to go potty so I let her go. I hugged myself, rubbing my arms to warm me up. All I had on was light pink pajama bottoms, slipper boots, and my cheer sweatshirt, so it was a little chilly...also, it's in the middle of winter, and it was about 2 o'clock in the morning at the time.
The swing set is directly across from the house, in the way back of the yard, facing the house. So i stared at the old house, that was made in the fifties. Of course my dad re-modeled the back porch and the front porch. There was new paint, that was there when we first moved in about 8 years ago when I was in 2nd grade. I hate this house. It's old, not pretty, and I just don't like it. There's just a bad vibe here or something. Ever since we moved here my parents just don't get along at all, and nothing ever goes right for to long. If it does, I never expect it to last long.
I heard an airplane engine and looked up at the starry sky. I watched the plane way up there and whispered to myself, "That's me someday...flying away...somewhere new." And as the plane was half way out of my sight I heard a sort of zoom sound, not sure how to explain it, but for the first time in my whole life that I can remember...I saw a shooting star. My heart stopped, and I quickly made a wish. I would tell you what I wished for, but that's classified of course. I don't know why but tears came to my eyes and I laughed. It was a moment I shared with myself that I'll never forget.
I stayed out side quite a while longer; my swinging getting slower and slower until I almost fell asleep. I put down my hood and looked around the yard and behind me. I was suddenly scared for no apparent reason. I felt like there was somebody there, not really watching me but they were there.
I looked over at the weather beaten bench that sat underneath a small pine tree, and imagined a ghost sitting there. Totally a trick of the mind, and I of course watch to many scary movies. I sat still for a while, thinking, what if I get up and something tries to chase me? So stupid. I shook my head quickly, shaking off the thoughts and stood up. My backside was cold from the frosted swing.
I walked around the perimeter of the yard past the shed that was just built last summer, the ice cracking beneath my feet; making sure I didn't turn on the motion light. Instead of going through the living room sliding glass back door. I went though the garage door and cuddled the dogs a little while underneath the heating lamp.
Finally, I walked up the steps and into the door that leads to the kitchen. I quietly shut the door, thankful it was one of the few non-squeaky ones in the house. I quickly slipped off my slippers and tip-toed to my room. I threw my slippers on the floor, and I looked out the window to look at the swing set. I imagined myself swinging there. I could barely keep my eyes open so I tip-toed to my warm cozy bed and fell fast asleep.

It was the best sleep I've had in a long, long time.

I want to Travel!

Someday, I want to travel the world. Go somewhere different than this dumb small town full of dumb people. With the exception of a few close friends, and hopefully my little brother when they grow up. Oh and my family down in Ione, Washington, I love them. I want mostly to go down south. Tennessee, Alabama, Kansas, Florida, Georgia...and then there's places like Italy, Paris, England, and romantic places like that. Also, the more adventurous side of me wants to travel to places like Indonesia, and whatever other places like that.

I have a close friend I've known since kindergarten, me and her have always dreamed of traveling places together. First we wanted to go to Vermont to see this haunted hotel when we turned thirteen...we planned it for up to three years...But now I'm 14 and still have yet to go there. Next summer her and I plan to go see a friend we've known since 2nd grade down in Missouri. It would be my first time riding an airplane without my parents so I'm pretty excited. My mom is still sort of iffy about it but my dad is somewhat okay with it, as he is with most things. I think my mom doesn't want me to be so far away, and the fact of me riding an airplane that could possibly crash probably really worries her. Of course I've thought about that, but, whatever happens, happens right? You can't just sit around hiding yourself from the world. My mom is kind of a homebody I've noticed :) We are most definitely, two completely different people.

Once I settle down with my life after my adventures I want to have an Interior Designing business. So I'll have to go to college....but that's another story! :)

Just waiting for Summer...

So I've been obsessing over Summer lately.
I mean, I've always absolutely LOVED Summer,
but this snow is gettin' on my nerves lately,
and making me miss it even more.
First it was like 2 feet deep, then Mother Nature
decides to rain and turn it all into slush.
It's disgusting. I hate snow. Like, it's pretty and all that
when it's not all dirty and slushy and what not,
but unfortunately...it's all dirty and slushy...
and what not.

One of the main things I look forward to the most in the Summer time,
is the county fair. The smell of buttery popcorn and horse manure
is surprisingly not that bad of a smell. It smells like home to me.
One of my most favorite things to do with my girls at the fair is go to
the Motocross Arena and sit on that old fence hootin' at the
sexy motocross boys! Just sittin there on the fence dangling our cowboy
boots and soakin up the sun! It's the best :) Me and my two bestfriends
usually decide what to wear about a week before we go.
Even though we usually just end up wearin daisy dukes, a t-shirt, a flannel,
or just some regular cute shirt, along with either flip-flops or cowboy boots,
we still get extremely excited about it every year :) Hopefully this summer
I can find my cute country boy! The rides at the fair get less exciting to me
each year. It's usually the boys, the motocross, and the food I'm interested in now!
 It's the best.

Every summer on July 20-23 In my hometown, Ione, Washington, we have a
three day event called Down River Days. Ione is a very small town were
almost everybody knows everybody, so it's really fun!
Anyways, at the park there's usually snow mobile races across the river,
little booths around everywhere selling jewelry, candles, Hawaiian Ice!
(My personal favorite!) and so much other things :) Oh and don't forget the hot dogs!
On the river, there's this dock sort of thing, Not really sure if its and big ole' cement
square or a dock cause I've never really been down on that particular area,
but they have singing, and a guy calling over the intercom about who's winning
the races and what not! It's so fun!

Usually after that me and my family go down to my great grandparents house
because the river is in their backyard. They play country music, the adults drink beer,
the kids and teenagers of the family go down to the river and swing off the
rope swing. There's usually a little kid or two..or six, running around
causin trouble! My cousin is usually playing the guitar on the little wooden stage
singing oldie country songs. It's always so fun being around all your family, knowing
that's where you belong. And that they're all connected to you somewhere along the line.
It's the best feeling ever.

On the third day, everybody in town..well, the old people usually stay home for this, but at night,
there's a street dance! They set up a little stage in the middle of the street wich is usually
the back of a decked out truck, and have a band to play. There's people dancing in the
whole street! All the bars are open on the side of the street, and there's always the
occasional redneck bar fight going on in at least one of them! It's so much fun. If i don't bring
along a friend, i usually just hang out with my cousin and his friends so I always got something to do!
Well, either that or my mom asks me to watch my two little brothers so they don't run off!
So I usually end up dancing with my little brothers, twirling them around and laughing my head off!
I tell you what, if there is only eight things in this world I love more than anything that I could name
off the top of my head, it would be Summer, the river, the county fair, Down River Days,
Country boys, Cowboy boots, Family and friends! :)

So uhh....I basically miss Summer...Alot.

Gosh dang Technology!

So I'm sure yal have heard this before. You know, how everybody's obsessed with technology, always checking their Facebook, E-mail, Twitter, whatever else. Well, that is one true statement. Seriously, and I'm guilty of it to. Like when I go to bed at night, I'm like, ugh I need to check my Facebook NOW! It's really not good. I mean honestly, its taking us away from the people we love the most. We need to learn again to put family first. And were putting computers first and phones first! Sometimes I'll be trying to talk to my mom while she's on the computer and she doesn't even pay attention. Of course I do it to sometimes, but it gets seriously annoying. Also, what really sucks, is when you can talk to someone you like really well over text or internet, but when it comes to real life.....awkward silence....It's crazy. I mean I honestly don't get what i enjoy about reading people's posts when their mostly just complaining or whatever. I think it's all just a popularity contest sometimes. Some people I know, and am friends with on Facebook (not very good friends in real life) get like almost 200 likes on their statuses. That's usually the blonde bitchy girl to by the way. You know, the tan one with the big booty. Anyways, pretty much if your pretty and cool, even when your status is lame as rag doll on fence post, mhmm...it don't matter. Long as your hot. I think I'm dang adorable! but I usually get like 10 likes at most. But whatever dude, I'm homeschooled so I'm not as cool as public schoolers. Psshh, pathetic. I mean, I don't know if it gets any better when your older, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't. Not much anyways. Whatever though, I just needed to get that off my chest! <3

Sad Cheerleader :(

So I'm a cheerleader...and about three months ago at Homecoming game, I did a toe touch and my tail bone starting hurting really bad. Ever since then it's been hurting and it's gotten worse. If I sit down for long periods of time it hurts soooo bad and I can barely get up. Now if I stand up for long periods of time my lower back starts to hurt. I just went to the doctor yesterday, FINALLY, and she said I might have torn the muscle away from the bone (on my tail-bone) and to get a donut pillow to sit on so it doesn't have so much pressure on it, and to go to physical therapy so they can teach some exercises that will help with the healing. So my mom got me a donut pillow and it helps so much. Sure hope this pain goes away soon. Unfortunately it's one of those injuries that will take at least a year or so to heal completely. SO no more toe touches and stunting for a while. :(
